Muslin is a unique cotton fabric first introduced into England in the late 17th century. Muslin has a light, open weave that allows air to flow seamlessly through the material. The soft natural fibers allow your baby's body temperature to adjust naturally, eliminating over-heating, but ensuring warmth and comfort. aden + anais wraps will allow you to safely swaddle your baby, giving you confidence that your baby will experience a peaceful and secure sleep. These delicate cotton wraps are light, yet extremely durable, and can be machine washed and tumble-dried. Best of all, the more you wash aden + anais muslin wraps, the softer they get, as the air from drying creates a unique waffled effect in the fabric. Be sure to wash them before your first use. Other Uses Beyond Swaddling: As an open sheet On the floor for tummy time To shield you and your baby while nursing in public As a burp cloth Draped over your stroller to shade your baby As a summer time blanket Each packet includes 4 large unique cotton muslin wraps (47 inches x 47 inches) as shown.

This product is amazing. The blankets are a large size and perfect for swaddling and other needs. The muslin material is so soft and keeps my daughter warmer than traditional cotton blankets. The designs are cute and unisex and it also doubles as a breast feeding cover up!! Highly recommended!

I've tried many blankets and the swaddle wraps by Aden and Anais are the tops. First, you can't beat the size. I used them in the beginning for swaddling, they doubled as a cover for breastfeeding, and as a tummy time mat when we were on the go. I am still using them with my almost 2 year old for uses apart from swaddling. They are wonderful for going out in the stroller in summertime. I have draped one over the stoller to provide shade for a quick nap. They get better with washing, are very soft and I love the pattern options. I think these are the best lightweight blankets to have! I wish BRU would get them back in the stores and not just online only!

My son is 2 months old and I cant tell you how many blankets we were given during my pregnancy. However, I would throw all of them away except for these. They are AMAZING!!! Compared to most other "receiving" blankets they are much larger which is one of the best features. The larger size allows the baby to stay swaddled and not "break out" of the swaddle. Many blankets are only 30x30 and my son could not stay swaddled in those for more than 2 minutes even when he was a week old. I also love the weight of these blankets. They are so lightweight that he does not get too hot at night all swaddled up. And they are soooo soft. Very versatile and travel great too in his carseat carrier! Highly recommend and have been buying these for all my friends since I started using them! And I will say even though they are mostly "white" they was out very easy as we have had many "accidents" on them, just add some shout and wash. I cant say enough good things about them.

My son has a ton of blankets. We received so many for his baby shower and I continued to buy different blankets because I think they are one of those things (like burp rags) that you can't have too many of. My son is a little heater though. He never really needs a blanket because he's always so hot. I had a gift card and thought I'd give these a try since I love the fact that they're big and light. My son loves sleeping with them at night and he tends to hang on to them even in the car. We live in Hawaii and it's perfect for the weather here...thin enough to shield him from the sun and wind when he's sleeping in his stroller.

I cannot tell you how glad I am that I discovered these swaddle blankets! My baby was 22" in length at birth (big kid) so regular receiving blankets didn't swaddle him well for more than a week. These blankets are PERFECT. They are breatheable, stretchy, soft and big enough to get a really good swaddle. When it's a little cool, we use two of these at a time. My baby loves them. Definitely a great gift for a baby shower! I own 8 of them and would not be without them.

These blankets are the best thing ever! We got them as a gift at our baby shower and thought they might be too big but they are perfect! They are light-weight but they still keep our newborn warm. They stretch so we can get the perfect swaddle. Our daughter would be crying non-stop with other blankets but we wrap her in these and she stops almost instantly!I only got one 4 pack at my shower and we use them so much that I want to buy at least one maybe two more 4 packs, just so that we are never caught without one.

I got it because my 2nd baby is due at the end of July and I needed a blanket that is light and breathable. Straight out of the package, the items don't feel soft but once you wash it, (follow instructions) it really is super soft! It's definitely big so baby can grow and it will still be useful. For those who don't know how to swaddle, there is photo and word instructions. I truly wished I had this product with my first born!

I used these for the first few weeks as swaddling wraps. My son was too big to swaddle in normal size clothes and these were perfect. They were also never too hot or too cold because they were breathable. Now i use them as regular blankets and to drape over his car seat and stroller in public to keep sun off of him or to let him sleep in peace. These are my very favorite blankets!

I love these blankets. I don't use them for swaddling, but I keep them around for just about everything else - emergency nursing shawl, receiving blanke, summertime baby wrap, etc. The patterns are adorable and the fabric is super lightweight. I'm also a big fan of the size, which makes them very flexible in purpose - whether you want a thin spread or to fold it up for a little more cushion. The fabric is a little rough, but we haven't washed them yet.

This is a great blanket for several reasons. It is lightweight, breathable, and very soft, which is great in warm climates. It is also large enough for a snug swaddle when needed. But, the best thing I think is that it is perfect as a breastfeeding wrap. Due to its size, I can tuck it behind me and the wind doesn't blow it away. Also, because it is breathable, my baby doesn't sweat under it. One other thing, because of the light fabric, I also use these as tummy time blankets.
