Got this as a floor model clearance item. It works fine. Easy to set up. Have not needed to use fax yet. Printing is very nice. Love the auto document feeder. Large flat bed. Need to figure out how to program legal drawer and default to letter drawer, but haven't had time yet. Love that it connects to my wireless network and I can print and scan from my smartphone using the Brother app!

The thing is great for 11 x 17 scanning. The print quality is good. Is not laser quality, but this is a cheep printer. It is a very cheep 11 x 17 printer...and that is why we bought it.We use 11 x 17 format all the time for my architectural detail drawings...and illustrations. So this is the one for that kind of work.

The printer is truly an excellent quality printer, for professional and everyday use. Extremely good on the ink usage, the ink last for a good long time, love the separate ink cartridges, so if one is empty just get rid of the empty one, and high quality printing, copying, scanning, and faxing with no problems at all. I find myself using and setting the printer up to my computer all the functions with not even reading the instruction manual. An individual with well-rounded common sense can use this. I trusted this printer, like I trust my Holy Bible, it is so simple that a fool need not error, I reminded of one scripture saying. Extremely very user-friendly, I had no problems at all, no paper or ink problems, well constructed material, set up in minutes not hours. This printer is truly a financial blessing to me; it is well worth the price I paid for it. I used it heavy in printing, copying, scanning, and now faxing. It is true, it is large in sized, to me, this is good because I do not have to worry about it being moved off my desk by anyone.

Got this workhorse of a machine for[$]after an instant rebate and could not be happier. Fast, easy setup, quality faxing, printing, copies and scans. This machine can handle a small office environment even though I only use it for my home office. Brother customer service is also excellent, they are here in the USA and speak English!

Nice machine. Many features. Awesome LCD display with very helpful prompts. 11 x 17 capability. WiFi setup went smoothly. Just a couple of things to keep in mind before you order one. First, it's big, so you may want to go look at it before you order one sight unseen. It has to be big to handle 11 x 17, but just be sure it will fit where you want it to go. Second, like most modern printers in this price range, it has a kind of flimsy/fragile feel. I've only had it a short time, and I haven't actually broken anything yet, but it makes me queasy every time I lift the lid. You wouldn't want to put this in a busy office with a lot of people messing with it. Same deal with the paper tray. So.. if you can live with the size and be careful with it, I'd say go for it....

I love that it will fit to page, so you don't have to enlarge/shrink you can have 11x17 in lower tray 8.5x11 in the upper so larger charts ,diagrams fit easly with no addl. work. good color, easy to set up,good machine for the $$

I mainly use this to print 11 x 13.5 publication proofs (on 11 x 17 paper). The quality and speed of the proofs are excellent. Even at the "fast normal" setting, the text is very readable. I have only tried scanning and copying a couple times (I have other scanners and copiers), but both functions seem to work well. I highly recommend this machine -- and the price is very reasonable, especially with a rebate (but it's a good buy even without the rebate).

I use this product to print drawings on 11x17 paper and do not feel the same printer in laser costing over a thousand $ would justify the cost, especially when I'm an occasional user. The bonus feature of being able to copy and scan 11x17 paper comes in handy. This printer is surprisingly quiet compare to other inkjet A4 printer that I've used. I do not foresee paper jam because it feeds so very smoothly. It's also goes into energy saving mode. The bulky size is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.

I use 2 HP ink jets and 1 HP laser at work, own 3 Canon inkjets and two MFC Brother inkjets. I bought my MFC all in one for faxing and copying. It has been a sore loser. I will not purchase these again. Brother is always "improving" their machines but seem to never quite catch up. For me the cost saving was not worth the headache. It jams, goes through a ton of ink and is slow. It has cost me more in ink than what I saved in the promo sale. For me, it's Canon for photos and HP for all in one's. I speak from experience.

Before I purchased the printer I read all the Reviews, from very bad to very good. This printer is large, because the screen is 11 x 17, the software was very easy to load, the features are great, remember it is 11 x 17 and the price was great for all what you get. If you do not follow the very easy instructions you will have problems with the software. I figured for the price let me try it, if the printer is no good I will return it. This printer is better then allot of others, I have it 1 Month and had no problem. [...]
