Wish I would have known that this game would not work on DSi.

When first discovering that the attachment only had four buttons, I thought that this game would be easy. I was wrong! The Expert difficultly level is very challenging! I highly recommend it for Guitar Hero vets and new players interested in Guitar Hero games. The only problem I've had so far is adjusting to how you hold the DS, and... sweaty hands =).This game definitely deserves a 9 out of 10.

I love the music!! It's great that they've included some pop, and less head banging rock. They've also added some cool new characters. Even though there are only 4 notes, it's every bit as challenging as the 'big' version! What I don't like is that it took a while to find a comfortable position to hold the game; 3 of the 4 people who played my game found this to be true. Initially the game had to be played in short intervals because of hand, wrist, or forearm cramping. The good news is it doesn't take too long to figure a way to hold it that's more comfortable. Nintendo names a website that shows positions to hold the game more comfortably(though it wasn't an issue long enough for me to check out the site). Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, I just hate having to wait for someone else to finish playing every time I set it down! :-)

I believe that this is one of the best games I have ever asked my dad to get for me. It exercises the fingers (sometimes making them hurt I might add) I've only had the game for 2 and a half days. I love it. It rocks. This is a game that you can keep playing over and over again even though I haven't gotten to the complete finish. You'll feel like a rockstar when you begin your own personal finger challenge and once in a while be sure someone is watching while you play on expert mode and your fingers are speeding in overdrive. They'll be amazed. My aunt was. Try it.

I unlike two others thought this game was AMAZING! I got it for my birthday and its the only thing i still play on my DS (i only have two games) but my brother used to not let me play guitar hero on his X-box 360 but now hes begging me to play my game and isnt that what its all about (hes two years older than me) so i would advise any guitar hero fans to buy this game and embrace it!

I bought this for my 7 and 3 year old for Christmas. They kept begging me for it because they love the one on the Wii and XBox 360. It is overall pretty cool. I've played it a few times but still prefer the Wii version because I think it's easier to play with the guitar. But the cool thing about it is they can now take Guitar Hero anywhere we go I don't have to hear them complain about going on a trip or doing errands during the day. They are to busy playing this game. LOL!

This game is very entertaining and very fun. The sound is great and you can clearly understand the words and you can clearly hear the guitar and every sound there is. One thing that is a con about this game is the characters. They all are so "rock out" but the songs aren't like that, like Jessie's Girl or Heaven. Plus, when you finish all of the songs, it gets pretty boring... But altogether, the game is great and I hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I do!

Catherine Lewis says...

This is a great game to have if you are a fan of the big console versions of Guitar Hero. It's great to know that you can take the game with you anywhere you go. I love the fact that if I'm in a doctors office or on a plane trip I can just take the game out and play. It's a great way to pass the time away.In response to the person that said that one of the cons is that the graphics are not that great well of course they aren't because it is on the DS. The DS does not have the best graphics. But the concept and game play is awesome and I highly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the game!

This game rocks serioussly hard! Its very very very addicting. But fun. If you think its not that cool because the orange button isnt there anymore...THINK AGAIN!Its still hard and expert!

Donna Smith says...

Great songs, confusing to set up, witch is why I deducted a star. But once set up, you get addicted! Not sure it is worth 50$....but great fun!
