Love, love, love these. As others have noted, they are a nice nostalgic throwback to the style we were wearing in the 70's, but updated with some additional height, cool colors (the Grigio is a perfect neutral for me), and a pretty cork laminate platform. Because the platform is quite high, they are comfy for standing and walking for long periods despite the height.

These were my absolutely very favorite shoes back during my late high school years ... when was that, you say? ... Don't even ask. Admittedly, these sandals were probably not exactly the same then as they are in today's modern version, though I would have to admit it's been too long ago for me to remember for sure, but regardless the style and feel are so close it doesn't matter. What matters most is that they are just as comfortable now as I remember them being then. And taking into account my age, (again, who's asking) and chronic joint and foot problems with all the associated aches and pains, I would have to say that this particular Kork-Ease sandal has definitely proven itself to be more than worthy, even considering the slightly above average price tag. So much so, that I'm ordering at least one more pair, maybe two. As for Zappos, you are incredible!!!

Attractive but run small and odd! Yes, I had shoes that looked like this in high school, and yes I loved them. I have often wondered why this classic shape was not available for so long- that is until brilliant Kork-Ease brought them back! However... these do run at least 1/2 size small, maybe even a whole size for those with wider feet. I usually take an 8 1/2 in open toed shoes, and after reading other reviews, I went for the 9- got it, and it was WAY small. Plus, the insole was really hard and offered zero padding. So I returned those, and I ordered the 9 1/2's just to see if those would be any better. They were better in size, and the insoles were padded on these (!?), but they were still not comfortable. They rub all over; and felt as though the platform was flat instead of curved, which makes walking feel unnaturally difficult. Way too much drama for me, I returned them. (Thank you Zappos, for making that part so simple!) I continue my quest for shoes that look like this!

Pretty and comfy - I just got my Campari (Reddish Coral color) Kork Eases in 3", and I must say they even look better in person than in the photo. The color is stunning, not too red, just a sort of pale red that is less vivid than blood red, more a coral red that fits everything. They look much higher in the photo and I was afraid that I wouldn t be able to walk in them, but even if they are 3", they look and feel lower because the height spreads across the whole shoe. They fit perfectly for my size (7). The only thing is that they are a bit stiff, but most platforms are, so you need to get used to walking on a platform if you're not. But they are very comfortable when you wear them, the leather is soft and the when you put your foot in, it s soft and smooth. They are extremely chic, and wearable. You don t have to suffer for the height. They are casual and elegant at the same time, and very youthful. Just perfect, I will but the same soon in the luggage color!

Awesome! Always wanted these since they were first out years ago, now have the metallic and the buff ones! Can't find a size that fits that well; they seem to start out kind of small, but the metallic ones that I've had longer are stretching a bit, and hoping for the buffs as well. Wish I could find 1/2 size larger than reg. size, but not available. But No. Way. I was sending them back! Easy to walk in, fairly comfortable, and ultra cute! A couple of wannabe brands out there too; I got several of those to cover some colors Kork didn't come in and sizes that weren't available. Only one that was comparable in looks was a style Moda Spana no longer makes, the others tended to have stitching outlining the straps, which makes 'em look just a bit wrong and cheap. Anyway, hoping to pick up more colors, and hoping my feet shrink 1/2 a size while I m at it!

Love the look and the lightweight factor, adds good height, but too narrow so had to return. I wish these came in half sizes.

Wonderful shoes if you are not fall prone - These shoes were gorgeous and the bronze color is especially lovely. I have seen and tried on cheaper imitations and they do not have the same level of construction, comfort or good looks as the Kork Ease. Unfortunately, I fell several times while wearing them inside my house. My tendency to twist my ankle and fall while wearing platforms was forgotten and nearly ignored because these shoes are so easy to wear and awesome looking. With a heavy heart, I returned them. Luckily, I bought them at Zappos and I could return them and get the Kork-Ease low riders.
