The Nintendo Wii Sports Resort Video Game has been a very fun social game since the release of the Wii Sports game, another game to play with family and friends in a large group. Definitely a must play and adictive game for the masses when gathered around to challenge each other.

Since Wii Sports Resort now comes with every Wii Console, anyone looking for this product probably has already has a system and has heard about it from their friends or likes Wii Sports so much they want to go buy Resort. Whatever, we have a winner - now with 12 games, including improved versions of golf and bowling from Wii Sports. Why is it so much better? With the WiiMotionPlus, the Wii Remote is much more sensitive so the bowling, to my surprise, was a TON more like bowling and it has been proven that playing this game can actually improve your real bowling score. Definetely recommended, all 12 games are alot of fun!!!The reason for the price is because it comes with the WiiMotionPlus. All it is is a little extension that plugs into the Wii Remote. The only "cartoon violence" I can find (this included in the ESRB rating) might be in the swordfighting where you're beating each other up with little foam sticks, in Ping Pong where the ball can sometimes hit your opponent in the face, or when your plane crashes in "Island Flyover" and your Miis come jumping out and land with a parachute. Amazing game, absolutely for everyone!!

I enjoyed this product, especially because you never get tired of playing the addicting games. With bicycling, fencing, wakeboarding, pingpong, parachuting, and much more, there is something for everyone to enjoy. We enjoyed this game with our family and friends, and we had a great time together. However, if you want to play alone, this is a great option, too, because there is a wide selection of one-player games.I also liked the fact that you can use your Miis, and that they are dressed in tropical outfits. This is a great game for families, and it never gets old or dull. I hope this was helpful!

I just got this game today and its awsome. I have played many games without the motion plus but when i played this game with the motion plus it brings the game alive. Its a little challenging at first but its easy to figure out. the only one problem about it is u have to keep centering the remotes movements on the screen by pressing the down button while playing to keep it accurate but other wise it is a fun game for the whole family.

Wii Sports Resort is essentially a collection of sports-themed mini-games, much like its predecessor, however the offering is much more plentiful and diverse this time around. There are twelve sports offered and each has at least two types of games available to play, so even within each sport there is a bit of diversity. For example, within Swordplay (one of the game's fortes) there is a Duel mode where players try to knock each other off a platform, Showdown mode which pits gamers against a horde or other Miis, and a Speed Slice mode which is a competition to cut an object in a particular way as quick as possible as a test of reflexes. The numbers and diversity is refreshing and enhances the game's overall value significantly. Each and every game in Wii Sports Resort makes use of the new Wii MotionPlus accessory, which comes packed in with the game. This is Wii Sports Resort's main draw: without it, the game would have been pointless. MotionPlus is a remarkable little piece of hardware that attaches to the bottom of the Wii remote and significantly enhances the accuracy of the game's motion controls. MotionPlus brings motion controls one step closer to being 1:1 with real life, which is especially evident in games like table tennis, which almost perfectly mimics your hand's motions, and archery, in which the remote becomes a bow that is aimed not by pointing at the screen, but by actually holding the remote like a bow. Other games such as basketball and air sports would have been complete duds without the MotionPlus accessory, but with it they are strong, solid mini-games. Resort has a number of highlights, and it is only fair to mention a few of them in detail. Archery features some of the best control design by making the player hold the remote and aim it just like a bow, then using the Nunchuk to draw the arrow and fire. It is remarkably accurate and goes much deeper than any shooting game that merely involves pointing at the screen. Table tennis (my personal favorite) is remarkably accurate in its translation of players' movements by allowing the player to put topspin or back spin on the ball. Despite the more memorable moments there are also several forgettable games as well, namely the predictably bad games of Canoeing and Cycling. In the end, Wii Sports Resort is really all about the remarkably accurate and entertaining experience with MotionPlus. Much like the original Wii Sports was basically a demo of the Wii, Resort is a demo for MotionPlus, but it goes much farther than its predecessor did by being bigger, better, and just a little deeper. If you are a casual gamer and you have a Wii or are just looking for a solid and fun multi-player experience, then be sure to buy this game in the near future. If you are a hardcore gamer you should appreciate everything MotionPlus does for the game and still be entertained by the simple but highly entertaining game-play.

This game is great. With the Wii Motion Plus, it really seems real. With more activities like Crossbow, Sky Diving, Basketball, and water skiing, this game is the funnest game i've ever played

We got this game this morning and it has been fun playing, even with one remote, but I was under the impression I could use just an old wii remote to play. It comes with one motion plus. In order to play each person must have the wii motion plus. Now I have to go back and get another motion plus so my boys can play at the same time.
