Crystal clear sound. Zero interference. Long-lasting battery. Comfortable to the ear.

This product is a bit large and heavy on the ear for someone using it w/o the headpiece, as I need to. It pinches my ear trying to hang onto it. When I just about find a comfortable spot on my ear and start adjusting the mouthpiece where it should be, it pops off the earpiece. I've taken to letting it dangle at my chin. Callers seem to hear me just fine, but I have a difficult time hearing them. I work in a call center so the mobility to run to the printer or fax while still being able to talk to them is great! Much more efficient than putting them on hold. I recommend using it only with the over-head holder.

I use the CS70N in a professional office with an ancient BBS Telecom PVT-30D telephone system. The headset works on all three lines including VOIP line. I purchased the automatic "lifter". Because I am in a rural area, my phone has some noise. The CS70N reduces the noise. Even BBS Telecom told me that such Plantronics headsets would not work, but they were wrong. The only drawback is the battery life limited to 2-4 hours if not seated in the charger. A superb product!

I supervise a call center, and we all use this product. It buzzes so loudly in our ears that we have headaches by the end of the day. In fact, they buzz so loudly, our callers have a difficult time hearing us! Also, the way the device sits on our heads and ears end cause pain after a while. They are so long, they sit right in front of our mouths and end up going in our mouths if we aren't careful. They fall out of our ears, off our heads, don't always charge when we have them charging over night, etc. I really could go on and on. Honestly, the only thing we like about these headsets is that we have mobility to move around our offices and to the printers, and that they work sometimes. We do use them primarily, but a lot of people have opted to even keep them off of their desks. It's incredible, really. It's a very high priced headache... literally.

A gel type of earbud would subtantially improve upon the quality of sound. I have tried the over-the-head set-up with the earpad and found the ability to hear impaired. The current earbud is best but I still have to press on the ear piece to be able to hear the other party clearly.

The freedom this cordless unit is great. The volume is much better than many other units I have tried. Good volume control, outgoing as well as incoming. The over-the-ear piece gets a bit uncomfortable by the end of the day and will take some getting used to.

We have used Plantronics over the head headsets for years, so no complaints about the clarity, volume, etc. We decided to get the over the ear type this time and of 3 ladies in the office, none of us have big enough ears to keep the headset on our ears. If you have glasses, it is especially difficult to stay on. Also, the piece that goes in your ear is too big, so it irritates a bit. You cannot leave the thing in your ear all day; we could wear the over the head headsets all day. I would go with over the head and messy hair from now on. If the over the ear headset stayed on better, I would have rated this a 5.

I bought this headset for my wife who works in Mortgage office and receives lots of calls. The headset her work provided her was huge and gave her headaches not to mention it was wired and she was not able to move away from her desk. This headset is wireless, has very good sound quality and she is now able to move around and get to files and papers and printer, all while talking to clients. This headset has very good wireless range and is comfortable on her ears. She has been very happy with it and definitely recommends it.

2 out of 3 have gone bad, won't charge. We like them when they worked. Would like to get something similar, but want something that will last. These are not cheap!

Am a Home Office user and the headset allows hands free operation and walking around the house.Installation was easy, good instruction manual (if needed). When setting the volumes I found it hard to figure out where to in- or decrease in order to get ridd of the echo and humm of my own voice I had in the earpiece. The earpiece is very comfortable. If you plan on not wearing it for most of the day, I would recommend a different style of earpiece. It takes a couple of seconds to put it on and fit it well.Quality of sound is very good. People I talk with even internationally think I am in the next room.Controls for pick up is good. Volume buttons are hard and awkward to press. The mute funktion would deserve a button of its own - the pressing of the - volume button for three seconds to mute/unmute is not a good solution.Base station works well. Was surprised to see that the three cords that one need to connect the base station and the lifter (very recommended with this earpiece) are of three different length. The socket where the receiver is plugged in does only work, when esured that the cable is pressed in all the way. Took me some bit to figure that one out and was initially disappointed that I would not be able to use the phone receiver anymore. As that seemed not to make sense I looked for the issue and found the receiver cord socket issue in the charging station. Just make sure it is pressed in all the way, then it works fine.Battery life seems good for half a day of heavy talking. Recharges within 30 minutes it seems.Recommend the product, after getting rid of the echo, and finding the receiver cord issue, am very happy with it. Not perfect because of the missing mute button, but when in the room, one can always use the phone mute button though too.Very much recommend the HL10 lifter too. Works very well.Great deal for this price.Ordering and delivery (2 days!!!) were impeccable.
