Not just another pretty face...this car seat lives up to the hype. Being highly rated for safety was the primary reason for my purchase. In fact, this is the second Britax car seat we've purchased this month. Originally we purchased one for ourselves and when my daughter said our granddaughter was outgrowing the infant seat, there was no discussion. It fits beautifully in her crossover and was easy to install using the latch connections. It is a bit heavy, probably the steel construction, but we don't plan on removing it often. My granddaughter is happy, comfortable, and loves looking out the window.

Love this car seat and Britax is the brand you want to go with. [...] I bought an inexpensive car seat. It was summer and in two days of use, the fabric was already separating from the foam, I could only imagine what condition the seat would be in by winter. I returned the seat and ordered the Britax Roundabout 55. Immediately I saw a difference in safety by the installation of the seat, secure hooks, strong straps. I feel safer and more confident and know that this seat will last until my daughter outgrows this one too.

Very happy with how the Roundabout 55 fits rearfacing in the back of my Honda CRV. I have it installed in the middle seat currently, but can see that it would fit behind driver or passenger seat without having to move the seats up much, if at all. So far baby seems comfy and happy. Love that they increased the weight limit by 5 lbs. over the previous model!

I have to say, my 16 month old daughter and I were just rear ended by a car going VERY fast. I was very worried about my girl! She was just fine. She was in this seat (rear facing which is recomended till 2). She was just fine! I am very thnkful I chose to purchase this seat! I will be buying another one!

This car seat is a great fit for a small SUV. The carseat is installed rear facing behind the driver seat. My husband and I can both fit comfortably in the driver seat. My little girl (13mos) loves her seat and seems very comfortable (even rear facing). The pattern is perfectly gender neutral. The material is soft. The car seat is easily installed and isn't really that heavy to move between cars. I probably wouldn't use this seat for a tiny infant, but for an older baby it suits us. We love this car seat and would recommend this seat.

The experts say that the best car seat is the one that fits in your car. My problem was finding a replacement for the infant car seat my son had grown out of. I drive a small SUV (Infiniti EX35), and I want to keep my son rear facing until he is at least two. I tried all of them and the new Roundabout fit in the center seat. It doesn't have the bells and whistles of the car seat in my husbands truck, cup holder, no rethread harness, but it fits!!! I give this seat a thumbs up for those of you with limited back seat space. I love the luxurious polka-dot fabric too.

We had an older version of this seat in my husband's truck and I had the Britax Boulevard in my SUV. It was very hard for me to tighten the straps down (my husband had no problems, but for me it was impossible)and when our son grew and we extended the shoulder harness up, I couldn't see out the back window! We purchased the Roundabout for my car and I love it! It's easy to get my son in and out and I have no problems adjusting the straps. After a recent fender bender in my husband's truck, we purchased the same Roundabout as in my SUV and love it. My only annoyance is that the cover does tend to be displaced, but is easy to reattach and a small thing compared to how much I love the seat.

Not just another pretty face, this child seat is practical and safe. It was easy to install using the latch conections, although it was heavier than other seats. When you look at the reasons why, for instance the steel construction, and consider how often you'll be removing it from the vehicle, it's not a problem. I bought this for my daughter's crossover to be used everyday. My granddaughter loves that she can see out the window. She's sitting backwards now, but this seat will definetly last until she's ready for the booster seat.

My baby really likes this car seat.I have another carseat that make my baby cry when she sit there. But, she never cry, when she sit on this Roundabout 55 Convertible Car Seat.I think she feels comfotable. It is very soft and warm. However it is little bit hard to install. Actually, all part is easy to install except belt clip. And One thing that I really like is it is very very sturdy. After I install, it never move even though I suddenly make curbe.
