a good lightweight layering piece. This isn't a down but it does keep your core temp stable. I tend to heat up quick and a vest is more suitable than an jacket for me. But then again, vests are for style/fashion soooo why not look good when you're out in the woods! RIGHT?!?!?!?

This vest is great. Super lightweight yet warm and comfortable. Great to layer for a hike in the National Park or light enough for a night out. Great buy all around.

great vest, except for the cinch cords in both pockets. it can get caught with your keys, etc.
